Labor Day weekend, traditionally a big weekend for NASCAR in South Carolina, proved to be an equally major even for McCall’s Supply, Inc.
The number 20 Joe Gibbs Ruud Toyota Supra featured McCall’s Supply, Inc as they celebrated their 50th anniversary. Founded in 1969, they are one of the oldest HVAC distributors in South Carolina. In addition to being featured on the number 20 car, a contingent of 150 customers and employees gathered in the Hospitality Village. Food, beverages, gifts, prizes, pit tours and a “meet and greet” with Number 20 driver, Christopher Bell, completed the pre-race activities.
As the group watched at the track along with a national TV audience, Bell recorded another top 5 finish in the Xfiniity series race.
Senior management was on hand to meet customers and thank them for their five decades of support. Constance McCall-Baxley, Vice President and COO, pointed to the event as, “A tangible example of the Partnership that exists between Ruud, McCall’s and our customers.”
“We have the greatest customers in the world”, added Carla McCall, Director of Business Operations, “and it is our great pleasure to be able to spend this time with them.”
Though absent in person, due to recent surgery, but present in spirit, Dairen Jacobs, President and CEO, thanked Ruud, the employees and customers for growing McCall’s Supply, Inc to “Service 3 states from 18 branches”.
For the 14th year, McCall’s hosted a near record 455 customers and guests for the Sunday Darlington Monster Energy Series Race. A special thanks to Joe Gibbs Racing, Christopher Bell, Ruud and especially our customers for a superb weekend!
