1. Replace the Air Filter
No matter the season, your HVAC air filter needs changing regularly. In the summer, this is even more important. With all of the airborne allergies present
in the summer, your filter gets dirtier faster. Changing it should be at the top of your checklist.
2. Clean the Condenser Coils
The condenser coils contain refrigerant and work by absorbing hot air so your air conditioner can cool it. If the coils are dirty, they won’t be able to
work properly, and your AC won’t be able to keep up. Clean the coils for a cooler home.
3. Check the Refrigerant
If the refrigerant gets low, the AC can’t cool the air. An HVAC technician can check and replenish the refrigerant to ensure your air conditioner can keep
up with demand.
4. Inspect the System
During regular HVAC maintenance, a technician will inspect the system. They will check the lubrication of the moving parts, the fan and fan belts’ condition,
