Roger Spires, Brand Manager
Roger Spires served as Senior Executive Vice President for State Wholesale Heating Supplies in Columbia, SC for over 20 years. He began his career in 1968 in the warehouse at State Wholesale Heating and worked his way to warehouse manager, sales counter manager, and then into the office of Vice President. Roger has worked with many of the major suppliers in the HVAC industry building personal and professional relationships.
Roger has over 10 years in managing commercial real estate in the Columbia area. In 2005, he formed 21st Century Coaching as a Certified Life Empowerment and Corporate Coach. He continues as a Life Coach as a personal interest for building personal success.
Roger has served on the Distributor Council for Rheem Manufacturing Company and on the Board of Directors for the HVAC Association in Columbia, SC as well as the Richland School District One Technology Center Advisory Council. He has been featured personally and professionally in The Contractor, an HVAC industry magazine.
Roger is very active in Riverland Hills Baptist Church in Columbia, SC where he and his wife teach an Adult Bible Fellowship class for Parents of Teenagers. He has served as the Men’s Ministry Director at Riverland Hills, as a leader for the Men’s Ministry Department of the South Carolina Baptist Convention, and as Coordinator for World Changers through the Lexington Baptist Association. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Fishers of Men National Bass Fishing Tournaments. Roger has also conducted professional HVAC trainings for Rheem Manufacturing Company and Honeywell, Incorporated, and for the HVAC Contractors of South Carolina.
Roger has been married to his wife Kitty for 41 years. They are the proud parents of two daughters, Christy Todd who is the Children’s Minister at Riverland Hills Baptist Church, and Brook Spires who is in training to become an ultrasound sonographer. They are the proud grandparents of Maggie--11, Banks—9, and Molly—almost 5, and the blessed parents-in-law to Rusty, Christy’s husband.
