Ruud Heat Pump Training Class
McCalls recently held training for Ruud Heat Pump Systems in Rock Hill, SC. These sessions are designed to train our Team Members on the servicing of these units and the specifics of Airflow, Charging and Defrost Troubleshooting.
Bosch Water Source Training Sessions
McCalls recently held training for the Bosch Water Source system in Lumberton, NC, Columbia, SC, & Charleston, SC. These sessions are designed to train our Team Members on the Features &
Benefits as well as basic Installation instruction.These classes will enable us to help our customers to be knowledgeable with thermotechnology.
Time of Celebration
McCall's Supply, Inc. celebrates the "Grand Opening" of its Columbia location as the 200th ProStock store. It was an exciting occasion as Stock Holders, Officers, & members of the Corporate Management Team along with officials from RUUD/ProStock joined the Columbia Team & their customers in the celebration. A lot of hard work and many hours went into this major project – stated Mike Brant – Regional Operations Manager. David Blackwell, Manager, expressed appreciation for the commitment & support of his Team members and customers. David continued by saying, "Our ProStock store will enable us to provide a level of service to our customers that will ensure their success!"
Split-System Electrical Troubleshooting Training
Technicians learned electrical fundamentals, wiring diagrams and hands-on electrical measurements with live lab activities and computer simulations. Component checkout and replacement procedures were emphasized, including defrost controls. This was a full-day Top Technician Training event.
Heat Transfer Product (HTP) Service Training
McCalls hosted a series of in depth training meetings conducted by HTP Factory Service on such products as High Efficiency Boilers, Water Heaters, & Solar. This training took place Monday October 11th in Charleston, SC, Tuesday October 12th in Columbia, SC and Wednesday October 13th in Greenville, SC. These sessions will help contractor's to diversify by including Commercial applications.
Killman Heating & Air Grand Opening
Killman Heating & Air was established in 1999. Killman Heating & Air is a family owned and operated company committed to providing timely, dependable service at a competitive price. The Grand opening was attended by local dignitaries, friends, family, and suppliers. Representing McCall's Supply, Inc. were David Blackwell-Manager, James Hill- Sales Rep., Rick Sanders-Corporate Sales Manager, and Roger Spires-Brand Manager.
2010 SPRING RHEEM/RUUD DISTRIBUTOR ADVISORY COUNCIL MEETING (DAC)
The Spring meeting for the DAC was held in the prestigious Royal Sonesta Hotel in New Orleans, La. The DAC gathered in "Nawlins" to discuss new product ideas, PROSTOCK program updates and key goals and initiatives for 2010.
Hugh McCall - Director of Purchasing and Rick Sanders - Corporate Sales Manager attended the meeting. Hugh sits on the DAC representing McCall's Supply, Inc. "The meeting, like it's location, was special and unique in that it allowed participants to discuss issues and ideas in a format that was inviting and informal" states Hugh. As a guest, I was able to contribute to and participate in the discussions - said Rick. This meeting enable me to gain valuable information as well as it gave me an opportunity to "network" with other distributors - Rick continues.
The Fall Meeting will be held in San Antonio, Texas.

The Sales Team gathered in Columbia for a day long Features and Benefits (FAB). The session included professional & detailed presentations from Butch Aikens - RUUD Tankless Water Heaters, Mike Himmell - RUUD Whole House Generators, Gary Kuper - Samsung Mini-Split Heat Pump.
