Our History (So Far)...

In the year 1945, Mr. Jim, Mrs. Ludie and family moved to Johnsonville, South Carolina from Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Shortly after buying a small farm and building a small home, he decided to start in the electrical contracting business. This was also the beginning era of rural electrification in South Carolina. Things began to grow so rapidly, he decided to go into the central heating business. In 1967, McCall’s became the first distributor in the southeast of central heating and air conditioning products, with a full line of duct work, insulation, registers, grilles, tools and replacement parts.

We owe a special debt of gratitude to Mr. Jim and Mrs. Ludie, for without their vision and unselfish contributions, McCall’s would not be the company that we are today!
